The Traffic Branch Teams of Şırnak Provincial Security Directorate provided Traffic Education to Students.

Within the framework of Traffic Week celebrations, the Traffic Branch Directorate of Şırnak Provincial Security Directorate set up a traffic track in the courtyard of the Security Directorate to provide practical traffic training to students. After learning the traffic rules, the students took the wheel and experienced practical traffic situations. While one student took on the role of a traffic police officer, the others acted as drivers and pedestrians. During the event, students were taught basic traffic rules such as stopping at red lights and giving way to pedestrians at crosswalks.

Important Messages for Students to Observe Traffic Rules

Speaking at the program, Deputy Chief of Police, 2nd Class Police Chief Dr. Osman Akçay emphasized the importance of children adhering to traffic rules and stated that parents and drivers must fulfill their responsibilities in this regard. Akçay mentioned the necessity of taking measures for children to travel safely in traffic and emphasized the need to warn drivers who do not comply with traffic rules. The students expressed that they would pay more attention to traffic rules after the event.
