Preparations for the YOİKK Action Plan and Investment Advisory Council Meeting

During the YOIKK meeting chaired by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, the works within the scope of the YOIKK Action Plan and the preparations for the Investment Advisory Council meeting with international participation were discussed.

Implementation of Action Plan and Completed Steps

In the YOIKK Action Plan published on March 1, 2024, issues such as reducing the current account deficit and facilitating goods-service exports, which were evaluated positively for investors, were the focus. Within the Action Plan, 6 actions were completed on topics such as amendments to the Personal Data Protection Law, long-term investment credit strategies, and many more.

Vocational Training and Employment-Focused Studies

During the meeting, a set of 75 measures was created in the field of vocational training with the contributions of public institutions and private sector representatives. Emphasizing the importance of vocational training, it was decided to establish a working group where public and private sector organizations will jointly discuss vocational training and employment-oriented solutions. Increasing vocational training and employment is aimed to strengthen Turkey’s human resources for the future.
