International Congresses and Meetings to be Held in Istanbul

Statement by Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) President Şekib Avdagiç announced that the decision was made for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) 2025 congress to be held in Istanbul. Avdagiç stated that this success was achieved thanks to the efforts of Istanbul Convention and Visitors Bureau (ICVB).

NAR 2025 Congress

Şekib Avdagiç emphasized the importance of bringing the NAR 2025 congress to Istanbul, stating that this event, expected to host 2,000 participants, will provide a global vision to the Turkish real estate sector. Avdagiç mentioned that they will take significant steps during the hosting process in collaboration with the Real Estate Services Committee.

ICCA Mediterranean Regional Meeting

ITO and ICVB President Şekib Avdagiç announced that the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Mediterranean Regional Meeting will take place in Istanbul between June 2-4, 2024. Avdagiç noted that this meeting will further strengthen Istanbul’s international position in the congress and meeting sector.

UNWTO Tourism Sector Meeting

Avdagiç announced that Istanbul will host an important meeting for the tourism sector with the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2025, emphasizing the significance of welcoming tourism and aviation industry professionals from all around the world in Istanbul. This meeting will enhance Istanbul’s international presence in the tourism sector.
