The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing to establish the Foundation for Strengthening the Foreign Ministry in order to increase its effectiveness and achieve a structure more suitable for present-day needs.
Elevating Diplomatic Competencies
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which ranks third worldwide in terms of the number of diplomatic missions, hosts 2,190 career officers. The Ministry aims to increase the number of staff, improve the quality of human resources, enhance the academic qualifications of diplomats, develop their ability to use multiple foreign languages, and enhance their expertise in various specialization areas.
The Foundation’s Core Objective and Activities
The main objective of the foundation to be established within the Ministry is to support efforts to enhance human resources capacity and strengthen them institutionally. The Foundation for Strengthening the Foreign Ministry aims to support the education of diplomats, contribute to master’s and doctoral studies, and provide resources for publications in the field of international relations.
