The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the Construction Cost Index data for the month of March. According to the data:
Total Construction Cost Index
- The index increased by 69.98 percent annually.
- On a monthly basis, the index rose by 2.11 percent.
Material and Labor Index
- Compared to the previous month, the material index increased by 2.54 percent, and the labor index increased by 1.30 percent.
- Compared to the same month of the previous year, the material index increased by 55.17 percent, and the labor index increased by 108.04 percent.
Building Construction Cost Index
- Annually, the building construction cost index increased by 68.44 percent.
- On a monthly basis, the index rose by 2.14 percent.
Construction Cost Index for Non-Building Structures
- Annually, the construction cost index for non-building structures increased by 75.15 percent.
- On a monthly basis, the index rose by 2.03 percent.
