Every year, Sheikh Muhammad Kazim, the grandson of the Sufi sheikh El-Hazin in Siirt, continues to be commemorated with a memorial event. The 29th event, organized this year, took place at the Sheikh Muhammad Kazim Tomb in Çal Neighborhood.
Event Details
A large number of citizens from Siirt, as well as neighboring provinces and Istanbul, attended the event. Sheikh Muiniddin Aydin, the son of Sheikh Muhammad Kazim, emphasized that his father was one of the important scholars of the region, thanked the participants, and offered prayers.
Event Program
- Visit to the tomb was made after the Friday prayer.
- The Quran was recited and prayers were made.
- Tents were set up and meals were served.
The memorial event was attended by Siirt Governor Dr. Kemal Kizilkaya, Siirt 3rd Commando Brigade Commander Emrullah Buyuk, Siirt Chief of Police Necmettin Ozturk, Siirt Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Guven Kuzu, and prominent opinion leaders from neighboring provinces.
