The 29th commemoration event of the grandson of the mystic sheikh El-Hazin, sheikh Muhammed Kazım, was organized in Siirt. Many citizens from the city and other provinces attended the event held at the tomb built in the name of Sheikh Muhammed Kazım in the Cal neighborhood.

Sheikh Muiniddin Aydın, the son of Sheikh Muhammed Kazım, who is considered one of the most important scholars in the region, stated, “Today we have gathered to commemorate Sheikh Muhammed Kazım, the crown of the Alevis. As you know, our sheikh is on the path of knowledge, piety, and forbearance of the great master, the great mystic Sheikh Muhammed Kazım. May Allah not lead us astray from that path. Especially our region is in great need of peace and tranquility. Hopefully, we will live in peace around his teachings. May Allah bless his soul. We thank our brothers and sisters who came here from all over, including Istanbul and all parts of Turkey. May Allah accept their good deeds. We wish you all good health and well-being, God willing,” he said.
The event started with a visit to the tomb after the Friday prayer. After the recitation of the Quran, a prayer was offered by Sheikh Muiniddin Aydın, the son of Sheikh Muhammed Kazım. Tents were set up for the invited guests, and the event concluded with the serving of meals cooked in large cauldrons.
The commemoration event was attended by Siirt Governor Dr. Kemal Kızılkaya, Siirt 3rd Commando Brigade Commander Emrullah Büyük, Siirt Chief of Police Necmettin Öztürk, Siirt Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Güven Kuzu, prominent opinion leaders from surrounding provinces, and many guests and invitees from both outside and within Siirt.
