Bursa Technical University Students Stand Guard for Palestine

Students of Bursa Technical University started camping at the Mimar Sinan Campus to protest the long-standing attacks of Israel against the Palestinian people. In support of this movement, 66 young students from Private Alim Kindergarten visited the university students with an event they organized.

66 young students from Private Alim Kindergarten gathered to draw attention to the difficulties faced by Palestinian children and to support Bursa Technical University students in order to make their voices heard. University students were touched to see the young visitors among them, and the children learned the importance of supporting Palestinian children.

Emine Yenilmezcan, the founder of Private Alim Kindergarten and a specialist clinical psychologist who attended the event, stated, “Gazan children have been trying to sustain their lives helplessly amidst years of ongoing conflicts. With this event, we want to make their voices heard and support them. We hope that even this small step can create hope for Palestinian children.”

The young students who participated in the program expressed their feelings as follows:

• Can: “We are here to bring hope to Gazan children!”
• Elif: “We wanted to show that we stand by the children in Palestine.”
