Awareness Walk for Disabled Week Held in Kırklareli
Participants of the awareness walk organized in Kırklareli as part of the Disability Week drew attention to the rights of disabled individuals and increased social awareness.

An event was organized in Kırklareli within the scope of the Disability Week to draw attention to the difficulties faced by disabled individuals.
Kırklareli Governor Birol Ekici, Mayor Derya Bulut, Director of Family and Social Services Bilgin Özbaş, disability associations, and disabled individuals participated in the awareness walk organized as part of the event.
The walk, which started from Freedom and Democracy Square, was filled with colorful scenes. Participants walked to the Atatürk Monument, laid a wreath, and stood for a moment of silence.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, Director of Family and Social Services Bilgin Özbaş provided information about the legal regulations made for disabled individuals in the last 20 years. Özbaş drew attention to the problems faced by disabled individuals in society and called for more awareness and support.
Additionally, a touching clarinet and poetry performance by visually impaired Hüseyin Özkan and his wife Yeter Özkan took place during the event. Participants were moved by their emotional performances, emphasizing the talents of disabled individuals.
