Meaningful Gathering at Freedom and Democracy Square
The walk, which started at Freedom and Democracy Square, proceeded to the Atatürk Monument accompanied by a procession. The wreath presented on behalf of the disabled led to emotional moments.
Moments Filled with Messages and Music
Following the wreath presentation, Bilgin Özbaş, the Director of Family and Social Services, provided information about the legal regulations made for the disabled in the last 20 years. The clarinet and poetry recital by visually impaired Hüseyin Özkan and his wife Yeter Özkan brought emotional moments to the event.
Important Figures Among the Participants
Kırklareli Governor Birol Ekici, Mayor Derya Bulut, Director of Family and Social Services Bilgin Özbaş, and many representatives of disabled associations participated in the event. The participants came together to draw attention to the challenges faced by the disabled and raise awareness.
