AK Party Istanbul Women’s Branch Event

AK Party Istanbul Women’s Branch Presidency organized a meaningful event on the occasion of Mother’s Day on May 12. Here are the details:

Tree Planting Event

Women who planted trees in the forest area in Arnavutköy drew attention to the oppression in Gaza. The first saplings of the Palestinian Mothers Memorial Forest were planted at this event.

Wide Participation

Saliha Demirer, the President of AK Party Istanbul Provincial Women’s Branch, and many party members attended the event. Hundreds of people participated in the event, and the saplings were also watered.

The Tough Struggle of Gaza Mothers

Demirer, in her speech, drew attention to the oppression in Gaza, stating, “Due to the attacks of the killer Israel, thousands of women and children have lost their lives, and the wounded are waiting for treatment.”

Solidarity and Hope

Members of the AK Party Women’s Branch who attended the program expressed that they created a memorial forest to support the mothers of Gaza and stated that hope will flourish.
