Information on Energy Inefficiency of Non-Insulated Buildings

Arzu Uludağ, Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing at Dalmaçyalı Advanced Heat Insulation Systems, emphasized that a significant portion of the energy used in buildings is consumed by non-insulated structures. Drawing attention to the energy inefficiency of non-insulated buildings, Uludağ emphasized that up to 60% efficiency improvement can be achieved by using insulation systems.

Uludağ: ‘Important steps are being taken in Turkey regarding energy efficiency. However, considering that there are still 25 million old buildings without insulation, we see that there is much to be done in the sector. When we also consider that we consume 3-4 times more energy compared to Europe, it is evident that more work needs to be done in the field of energy efficiency.’ she stated.
