Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek stated that positive developments have been observed in the foreign exchange position of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT). Şimşek emphasized that CBRT’s net reserves, excluding swaps, have increased by 26.7 billion dollars since the beginning of April.
