Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced the construction of a new courthouse with a closed area of 104,000 square meters in Kocaeli. Making statements regarding constitutional studies, Minister Tunç said, “Everyone with different political views agrees that Turkey needs a democratic, civil, and participatory constitution. Being governed by a coup constitution does not befit Turkey at the beginning of the Century of Turkey and as we enter the second century of our Republic. Turkey needs to implement a democratic, civil, and participatory constitution.”
Oral and Dental Health Center Opened at Kocaeli University of Health and Technology
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç attended the opening ceremony of the Oral and Dental Health Center at Kocaeli University of Health and Technology. Located on Turan Güneş Street in Kadıköy Mahallesi, İzmit district, the center contributes to students’ education with modern clinical practice areas and serves the local community. The center, which has 60 dental units and a general anesthesia unit, includes various centers according to different expertise areas.
Tender for the New Courthouse Project Completed
Minister Tunç, stating that they have completed the project tender for the courthouse with a closed area of “104,000 square meters,” mentioned that they will finalize the project works of the courthouse that will be worthy of Kocaeli and put it into service in a short time. Tunç, mentioning that the courthouse is included in the 2024 investment program, emphasized that the project will make a significant contribution to Kocaeli.
In addition to Minister Tunç, the program was attended by Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tahir Büyükakın, Kocaeli University of Health and Technology Rector Muzaffer, Kocaeli University of Health and Technology Board of Trustees Chairman Talip Emiroğlu, and citizens.
