International Turan Film Festival
The International Turan Film Festival Award Ceremony, held at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM) Yunus Emre Hall at Ege University, received 1,057 applications from 77 countries in addition to Turkey. In the ‘Red Apple’ themed festival; 158 films from our country, 47 from Azerbaijan, 31 from Kyrgyzstan, 21 from Kazakhstan, 15 from Uzbekistan, and 10 from Turkmenistan competed.
Award Ceremony Details
The festival was organized with the contributions of Ege University, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), and the General Directorate of Cinema. Important figures such as Ege University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, TÜRKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, Presidency State Archives Director Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, and Ministry of Culture and Tourism Cinema General Director Birol Güven attended the ceremony.
- Contribution to Human Values Award: Director Derviş Zaim and ‘Gönül Dağı’ series producer Ferhat Eşsiz received the award.
- Contribution to Cinema Art Award: Azerbaijan Cinema Agency, Kazakfilm, Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policies of the Kyrgyz Republic Cinema General Directorate represented by Talant Osmanov and others received the award.
Among the films competing in the festival; Zamin Mammadov won the first prize for Azerbaijan with the film ‘Voice’, Dilshat Rakhmatullin won the first prize for Kazakhstan with the film ‘Lullaby’, Saule Mukanbetova won the first prize for Kyrgyzstan with the film ‘Hope’, and others won awards.

At the end of the award ceremony, the awardees, jury, and participants took a commemorative photo.
