International Poultry Congress and Panel Presentations

The International Poultry Congress Has Started

The Scientific Poultry Association, which is the Turkish Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA), in collaboration with Uludağ University, has started the International Poultry Congress held at Prof. Dr. Mete Cengiz Cultural Center between 8-11 May 2024. In addition to the valuable scientists from Turkey’s relevant faculties, famous foreign scientists and participating companies also took part in the event.

Opening and Panel Presentations

The congress began with a moment of silence, the national anthem, the screening of promotional films for Bursa and Uludağ University, and performances by the University Folk Dance Ensemble. Following the opening speech of the President of the Scientific Poultry Association, Prof. Dr. Rüveyda Akbay, panel presentations took place. The presentations of the panel papers were conducted by the Chairman of the Uludağ University Organization Committee, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ak.

Participant Evaluations

Müjdat Sezer, the President of HASTAVUK Inc., stated that the congress will add value to the sector and highlight the Turkish poultry industry. Rüveyde Akbay, the President of WPSA Turkey Branch, emphasized that the congress will open doors for exports in the sector and enhance commercial relationships.

At the end of the congress, all speakers were awarded plaques, and a group photo was taken.
