The HUBITSEM event was successfully organized in collaboration with Atılım University and Ankara Bar Association HUBİTEM Center. A significant step was taken in the field of law and information technologies.
Atılım University and Ankara Bar Association HUBİTEM Center, in collaboration with Atılım University Faculty of Law, organized the Law, Informatics, and Technology Symposium (HUBİTSEM) where it brought together the academic world and business life. Workshops were conducted with the participation of many students at the symposium.
Objectives and Scope of HUBİTSEM
Dr. Pınar Yaşar Şatıroğlu told the IHA correspondent that the symposium aimed to bring together experts on topics such as information technology law, artificial intelligence, and personal data protection. Unlike traditional scientific meetings, the event included refereed papers and various public sector representatives, with significant involvement from private sector executives.
Dr. Şatıroğlu stated that workshops included academics and representatives specializing in specific subjects, emphasizing that the symposium aimed to bring partners together to create new points of knowledge production. They expressed their goal of merging students’ academic life with business life to provide new opportunities.
HUBİTSEM: Discussions on Artificial Intelligence and Law
Lawyer Cenk Levent Eroğlu noted that HUBİTSEM was a nationally held symposium where participants from different cities and institutions thoroughly examined technology law and informatics law topics. The symposium, which addressed current issues, aimed to strengthen relationships between individuals and institutions.
In addition to discussions on artificial intelligence and law, the symposium included various panels and workshops and took place between May 4-5.
