HUBITSEM Symposium: Convergence of Law, Information, and Technology
HUBITSEM Symposium brings together the fields of law, information technology, and technology to discuss important issues. Expert speakers at the symposium will discuss current developments and future projections.
The Symposium on Law, Information Technology, and Technology (HUBITSEM), organized in collaboration with Atılım University and Ankara Bar Association Law, Information Innovation, and Technology Center (HUBİTEM Center), brought together the academic world and business life.
Workshops and Objectives
Workshops were held at the symposium hosted by Atılım University Faculty of Law. Dr. Pınar Yaşar Şatıroğlu stated that the symposium addressed topics such as information technology law, artificial intelligence, and personal data protection. Among its objectives are bringing knowledge holders together to facilitate new knowledge production and merging academic and business life.
Participants and Content
HUBITSEM, organized on a national scale, included participants from 4 bar associations, 8 different cities, 15 universities, 18 companies, and 8 public institutions. The symposium examined the details of technology and information law, while discussing artificial intelligence and legal issues. Sessions addressing current issues enabled participants to connect with each other and facilitate knowledge sharing.
The symposium, where artificial intelligence and legal issues were also discussed, took place on May 4 and 5.
