Emotional moments were experienced in Akyar Village, connected to Korkuteli, for retired Staff Sergeant Süleyman Tutulmaz, a Cyprus veteran who lived in Antalya and passed away at the age of 84.
Antalya Central Governor Mustafa Tutulmaz, District Governor Sezgin Üçüncü, Senior Colonel Burhanettin Erdoğan from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command, soldiers from the Gendarmerie and Land Forces, District Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant Vedat Kılınç, Police Chief İrfan Ağlamaz, President of Korkuteli Craftsmen and Artisans Credit and Guarantee Cooperative Hasan Can Caran, close relatives, and loved ones attended the funeral ceremony held before the noon prayer.
After the funeral prayer, the pension of Cyprus veteran Süleyman Tutulmaz was carried on the shoulders of soldiers and laid to rest in Akyar Cemetery.
