Anatolian Universities Association Introduction Program

Anadolu University Alliance (AÜB); organized a promotional program in Kırşehir with the participation of 15 universities. The program, which used the slogan ‘Innovative University of Kırşehir,’ was hosted by Ahi Evran University. Erciyes University, Abdullah Gül University, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş University, Niğde Ömer Halis Demir University, Yozgat Bozok University, İnönü University, Fırat University, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Sivas Science and Technology University, Tokat Gaziosman Paşa University, Amasya University, and Ardahan University participated in the program held at Ahi Evran Congress and Culture Center.

Opening Program and Speeches

In his speech at the opening program, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, the Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, emphasized the importance of promotional stands in the development and information acquisition of young people. Karahocagil stated, ‘Our students need to make the most accurate choices. During this period where students will shape their lives with correct choices, they need to gain information about professions and draw the right path based on this information.’

The Role of Universities and Support for Students

The President of the University Alliance and Rector of Erciyes University, Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, also highlighted that besides promoting universities, guiding students in their lives is crucial. Altun said, ‘The reason for coming together for career planning is to assist students in their career planning. Career planning is a vital process. It is crucial for a person to love themselves and their profession, and to do what they love for success. Through such fairs, it becomes easier for students to choose successful professions that match their talents.’

After the opening, the program continued with visiting the stands and having conversations with students.
