ROKETSAN has started the serial production of the indigenous and national heavyweight torpedo AKYA developed in line with the needs of the Naval Forces Command. During the combat firing conducted by the TCG Preveze submarine on December 27, 2023, in the Eastern Mediterranean, the AKYA torpedo successfully demonstrated its striking and destroying capability.
