Training on Animal Love from Volunteer Veterinarians to Students
The animal love education provided to students by volunteer veterinarians aims to instill a sense of responsibility in the future adults. It is an educational experience about the care and love of animals.

In the district of Tatvan in Bitlis, volunteer veterinarians continue to instill love for animals in students by visiting schools. At the event held at Selahaddin Eyyubi Middle School in Tatvan district, volunteer veterinarians and technicians from the Association of Volunteer Veterinarians and Technicians along with Tatvan Municipality Animal Neutering and Rehabilitation Center veterinarians met with students.
The Importance of Animal Love is Emphasized
In the project carried out by volunteer veterinarians, students were informed about the importance of animal love, establishing the right communication with animals, and caring for animals. The aim of the project is to instill love for animals in children and encourage them to become compassionate individuals. Guide Altıntaş stated that they have been providing education to primary and middle school students since the beginning of the project and this collaboration will continue.

Positive Feedback from Students
7th-grade student Ayşe Akın, who stated that the prejudices of students about animals were broken, shared her feelings after the event. Akın said, “Today, brothers who provided information about animals came to our school. They gave us information on how to approach animals, animal behaviors, and nutrition. Thanks to this activity, we learned to be more sensitive and understanding towards animals.”
