Within the scope of the ‘Forest is Mine’ campaign conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, students and officials cleaned up the garbage in the forest area during the event held in Karabük.

Within the preventive measures to prevent forest fires, the Karabük Forest Management Directorate organized the ‘Forest is Mine’ event at Çamlık Kent Forest. Governor Deputy Erol Özkan, Forest Management Director Aydın Kırımlı, and students participated in the event where garbage was collected.

The aim of the event was to prevent forest fires, reduce the risk of fire, and minimize the damage to the environment. Forest Management Director Kırımlı stated, ‘A significant portion of forest fires are caused by humans. Our goal is to protect the forests and raise awareness of forests among our people.’

Participant Berat Aslan expressed his love for the forests and stated that they were happy to participate in the event. Aslan also touched upon the points to be considered for preventing forest fires.
