In Aksaray, cobbler Turgut Kılıç, who feeds animals with the food he collects from the garbage, is getting ready to go to the Presidential Complex upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Turgut Kılıç’s Preparations

Preparing to attend the event at the Presidential Complex, Kılıç said, “I started every job I did with the intention of pleasing Allah. Our President watched my video, liked it, wanted to see me, and sent a message. Thanks God, we received the news. With Allah’s permission, I will go. It is necessary to respond to the invitation. Because the invitation is coming from our President. It is an honor, I am very happy, very joyful,” he said.

Compassion and Respect for Animals

Emphasizing the need to be compassionate towards animals, Kılıç said, “I feed animals with love for the sake of Allah’s pleasure. I have a lot of compassion for them, and I want everyone to show compassion to animals. There are many places to collect bread. People must have thrown away their bread in the trash, thinking they have too much bread. Can such a thing happen? It is actually disrespectful. Should the bread in the garbage go to waste, it’s a pity. I collect these and bring them here. I give them to birds here, but not only birds come, cats come, dogs come; crows, doves, sparrows, various animals come and eat,” he said.
