Opening Speeches of the Meeting
AK Party Bartın Deputy Yusuf Aldatmaz responded to criticisms of the glass wall constructed in the Yalı region within the scope of the Bartın River Rehabilitation Project with a flood simulation prepared by artificial intelligence. During the meeting, AK Party Bartın Deputy Yusuf Aldatmaz organized an evaluation meeting regarding the ongoing works in the region. In his opening speech at the meeting, AK Party Provincial Chairman Yaşar Arslan wished success to all elected mayors and emphasized that the common denominator of the Bartın people.
Reactions to Criticisms and Projects
Deputy Yusuf Aldatmaz explained in detail the rehabilitation project carried out to prevent floods and inundations caused by the Bartın River. Aldatmaz visually presented the details of the project with flood simulation created by artificial intelligence and also showed the situations that would occur in case of heavy rainfall through simulations. Aldatmaz stated that with the completion of the project, Bartın would be saved from flood disasters and emphasized that the project would set a precedent for Bartın.
Aldatmaz explained that the works carried out aimed to widen the 40-meter bed of the Bartın River in a way that would prevent floodwaters from entering the city. He pointed out that the project was unique to Bartın and unique in Turkey, mentioning that there were similar examples in Europe but Bartın River had its unique project in Turkey.
