Police officer Mehmet Selçuk Aydın (53), who had been undergoing treatment for lung cancer for some time, passed away at Amasya Hayrettin Şişman Police Station. Following Aydın’s passing, a funeral ceremony was held in Samsun.

A funeral ceremony was held at Samsun Grand Mosque for Mehmet Selçuk Aydın, who was a married father of two. The ceremony, which took place after the Friday prayer, was attended by Samsun Governor Orhan Tavlı, Samsun Garrison Commander Major General Davut Alâ, Samsun Provincial Police Chief Ahmet Arıbaş, as well as many colleagues, law enforcement officers, family members, and citizens.
