The heavy rain that started in the afternoon caused difficult moments for the citizens in the streets of Edirne. Those caught unprepared took shelter in their workplaces and indoors, while those who didn’t mind the rain experienced tough times.
The puddles formed on the streets due to the intensity of the rain caused disruptions in traffic. Citizens struggling to continue their walks had to take precautions against the rain.
Meteorology authorities warned that the rainfall would continue until midnight. It was emphasized that caution should be taken against sudden floods, waterlogging, lightning, hailstorms, and strong winds due to thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
