The Mayor of Esenler, M. Tevfik Göksu, continues to realize the projects he promised during the election period. In this context, an important step was taken for the needy young people in Esenler, and a ‘Dowry Support Center’ was opened.
Dowry Support Center: Support for a Happy Home
Esenler Municipality has put into service the ‘Dowry Support Center’ to meet the dowry needs of needy orphan girls from Esenler preparing for marriage. In the project, dowry packages containing about 25 different products such as electrical home appliances, kitchenware, bedding sets, and carpets are gifted.
In addition, expert-led training sessions on ‘Family Communication,’ ‘Gastronomy,’ ‘Baby Care,’ and ‘Child Development’ are provided to couples preparing for marriage or newlyweds.
‘We Are Always By Your Side’ Promise
During his visit to the Dowry Support Center, Esenler Mayor Göksu expressed that they stand by the young girls, stating, ‘These young girls are very valuable to us. Their happiness is important to us. We wanted to support them in establishing a happy home. Therefore, we will continue to be by their side on their happiest days,’ he said.
