Environmental Cleanup Carried Out in Gümüşhane City Forest as Part of the ‘Forest is Mine’ Campaign
The city forest in Çamlıca Neighborhood of Gümüşhane hosted an environmental cleanup event within the scope of the ‘Forest is Mine’ campaign conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Forestry. The event was attended by Gümüşhane Governor Alper Tanrısever, Gümüşhane Mayor Vedat Soner Başer, as well as various public institution managers, staff, and students.
During the event, the participants enjoyed a pleasant walk in the City Forest and collected garbage that could harm nature. Nature lovers were enlightened about the importance of environmental cleanliness through this event aimed at raising awareness about the protection of forests and measures to be taken against fires.
