Ceramics Workshop Exhibition at Kadırga Art Galleries by Fatih Municipality

Fatih Municipality Kadırga Art Galleries hosts the works of Levent Kum and his students. In the exhibition named ‘Colors Speak’, more than 40 works in underglaze and oil painting techniques meet art enthusiasts.

Technical Details of the Artworks

The underglaze technique, extending from the past to the present in tile art, is executed by Levent Kum and his students with a modern approach. The exhibition includes works done in underglaze and oil painting techniques specific to the classical period art.

Artist Levent Kum’s Evaluation

In his speech at the opening program, Levent Kum said, “The tile course supported by Fatih Municipality has been ongoing for 3 years. We meet once a week with my students to continue our work. This exhibition is the result of 3 years of effort. In our works, besides the underglaze technique, Baroque and Rococo styles can also be seen. We invite all art lovers to our exhibition,” he said.
