Ahilik Museum, which opened its doors in Kırşehir in September, was visited by 85 thousand people within 6 months. The museum, with a closed area of 3,600 square meters, has become a center of attraction not only for domestic tourists but also for visitors from the Central Anatolia Region.

Fikret Fidan, the Provincial Director of Culture, stated that they are pleased that the museum will be transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the purpose of learning. Fidan said, ‘Ahilik Museum houses an important cultural heritage shedding light on the 800-year-old Ahi Organization and the history of Anatolia. Hosting 85 thousand visitors within a period of 6 months also makes us particularly happy.’

Students visiting the Ahilik Museum stated that they came to learn about the life of Ahi Evran-ı Veli and the philosophy of Ahilik. The students expressed that by experiencing the Ahilik philosophy at the museum, they understood it better than what they learned in schools.
