In the incident that took place in Üçoluk Mahallesi, it is alleged that stray dogs left in the neighborhood killed more than 60 chicken and duck chicks in a coop. Deputy neighborhood head İrfan Terezü described the situation with the following words: ‘Upon arriving at the scene upon our neighbor’s tip-off, we sadly observed that more than 60 chicken and duck chicks in the coop were killed. Initially, we suspected the neighbor’s dogs. However, after conducting further investigations, we understood that they were attacked by the stray dogs left in the neighborhood. We noticed that there were stray dogs roaming near the center of our neighborhood. We do not have information about who left these dogs in our neighborhood. This situation poses potential risks that could harm our children and neighborhood residents. We expect support from the authorities to prevent similar incidents.’
