Welfare Party Chairman Erbakan Visited Oltu

The President of the Welfare Party, Dr. Fatih Erbakan, visited the Oltu district of Erzurum and met with the people of the district as part of his ‘Thank You Visits’.

Accompanying President Erbakan were Deputy Presidents Suat Kılıç and Mehmet Kaderli, Deputy Head of Central Organization Sadık Çat, and the Erzurum Provincial President Ahmet Mustafaoğlu. At the entrance of the district, the President of the Welfare Party in Oltu, Hikmet Şahin, Mayoral Candidate Mehmet Akyüz, Women’s Branch President Özlem Şahin, and their team welcomed them with a large group.

After the visit, the delegation moved to the party building. District President Hikmet Şahin provided information about the Oltu district and presented a nameplate made of Oltu stone with Fatih Erbakan’s name on it as a gift. Mayoral candidate Mehmet Akyüz and Women’s Branch President Özlem Şahin also presented prayer beads as gifts.

During the statement made at the party building, Erbakan expressed his thanks to the candidates, district management, and the people of Oltu for their support in the local elections on March 31. Erbakan then visited the local shopkeepers, expressing his satisfaction with the interest shown by the people of Oltu. Afterwards, Erbakan and his entourage set off towards the Göle district.
