Süleymanpaşa Mayor Volkan Nallar shared with the public the total debt inherited from the previous term as of April 5, 2024, when he took office. Nallar, delving into the details of the burden on the municipality, announced that the total debt amounted to 651 million 722 thousand lira and 3 kuruş.
When Debt Details are Examined
- Debt to Banks: 233 million 48 thousand 907 TL
- Debts to Public Institutions (Social Security Institution-Tax-Delay Penalty): 132 million 286 thousand 147.95 TL
- Personnel Salary Debts: 3 million 741 thousand 785.08 TL
- Debts to Companies and Individuals: 149 million 13 thousand 580.10 TL
- Other Debts: 20 million 56 thousand 849.01 TL
- Total Debt: 538 million 147 thousand 269.14 TL
In addition, it was stated that the remaining contract amounts from the tenders amounted to 113 million 574 thousand 734.66 TL. The total debt amount was announced as 651 million 722 thousand 3.80 TL. Volkan Nallar emphasized that the prepared debt table was reviewed and verified by independent auditors.
