According to the data of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya achieved a significant success in tourism in the first four months of the year. Hosting 2,066,962 foreign visitors, Antalya set a new record in tourism. This number was recorded as the best start ever in Antalya tourism.
Visitor Record in April
The number of tourists visiting Antalya in April was recorded as 1,061,026, with an increase of 4.86% compared to the same period last year. This became the highest April data of all time. Germany, Russia, and the United Kingdom were among the countries sending the most visitors in April.
Increase in Main Market Countries
- Germany: Ranked first with 539,663 visitors.
- Russia: Ranked second with 366,783 visitors.
- United Kingdom: Ranked third with 266,120 visitors.
Poland, the Netherlands, Iran, Belgium, Ukraine, France, and Lithuania were also among the countries sending a significant number of visitors to Antalya. There were noticeable increases in the number of tourists coming from main market countries.
