The rain that started in Samsun during the night hours continues with the first light of the day. According to the data of the General Directorate of Meteorology, more than 16 kilograms of rainfall per square meter fell in the last 24 hours, especially the eastern and southern parts of the city received heavy rainfall.
As a result of the rainfall, some areas experienced water accumulations. Citizens who set out for work had difficult moments due to the rain. The 10th Regional Directorate of Meteorology reported that the rainfall will continue for a few more days, and it could be in the form of ‘heavy showers’, ‘showers’, and ‘thunderstorms’.
