Project for the Promotion of Fruit Cultivation in Ağrı

In Ağrı, within the scope of the “Project for Popularization of Fruit Growing” financed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry General Directorate of Plant Production and coordinated by the governorship, distribution of 28,800 fruit saplings to 240 enterprises was realized with 75% grant.

Program Details

The distribution program organized within the project was held at Ağrı Farmer Training Center. The program started with a moment of silence and the national anthem.

Ağrı Governor Mustafa Koç, in his speech, emphasized the importance of the support given to farmers, saying, “We are proud of being in agriculture. Valuable farmers who will make sense of these projects, take ownership, and produce with labor and sweat are the ones who will carry them out. We are by your side in every field. You just need to produce,” he said.

The program was attended by Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor Adem Çalış, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Brigadier General Hüsamettin Erol, Provincial Police Chief Yılmaz İpar, and other provincial protocol members.
