A new term has begun in the Sivas Provincial General Assembly, and Mehmet Şarkışla was elected as the President of the Provincial General Assembly with a joint proposal from the Justice and Development Party, the Grand Unity Party, and the Nationalist Movement Party groups. Following the voting, Şarkışla was appointed to the presidency with the support of the assembly members.
Will Not Use Official Vehicle
Mehmet Şarkışla, who made an important decision after being elected, announced that he will not accept the rented official vehicle belonging to the previous president for the conscious use of public resources, and stated that he will use his personal vehicle instead for the assembly works. Şarkışla, who prefers to use his own car for the assembly works, mentioned that he will request a vehicle from the institution for official programs. Additionally, he decided to reduce the number of staff in the office.
