Heavy Rainfall Hits Suruç and Birecik Districts of Şanlıurfa

Heavy rainfall in the districts of Suruç and Birecik in Şanlıurfa yesterday evening caused significant problems in the region. Due to the rain, agricultural lands and roads were submerged, and some houses were flooded. Drivers had difficulty continuing their journeys.

Water Drained, Cleaning Works Ongoing

After the heavy rainfall, measures were taken in the region by opening channels with construction equipment to drain the accumulated water. Today, with sunny weather in the region, cleaning works are ongoing. Teams continue their efforts to reduce the effects of flooding and restore the area to normal.
