Fox Cubs Protected in Erzurum

Four fox cubs discovered by workers during excavation works in Erzurum have been taken under protection without harming their natural habitat. The fox cubs found during the excavation in Yarımca Neighborhood were taken over by the teams of Nature Conservation and National Parks.

Veterinarian Selçuk Albayrak from Nature Conservation and National Parks determined that the fox cubs are healthy after the initial examination. The cubs, who are not yet accustomed to the zoo, are currently receiving special care at the Kars Wildlife Treatment and Rehabilitation Center.

The fox cubs, which are not in vital danger, will be carefully raised to be released back into their natural habitat when they reach adulthood. During this process, they will be regularly fed and undergo health check-ups by expert teams.
