Donation Made by Büyükorhan Mayor Kamil Turhan to Students

The Mayor of Büyükorhan district in Bursa, Kamil Turhan, donated his first month’s salary as a scholarship to students. Turhan, who was elected with a record 57.77% of the votes in the local elections on March 31, 2024, made this meaningful decision to support students.

BÜGED and Social Responsibility Projects of Büyükorhan Youth

Büyükorhan Youth Association (BÜGED) has achieved great success in social responsibility projects despite limited opportunities in the district. The association, operating in a town with a population of 10,000, is earning appreciation by carrying out important projects under the leadership of young people.

Kamil Turhan’s Statements:

“Education is very important to us. I decided to donate my first salary as a scholarship to university students through BÜGED during my term as Mayor. We will continue to support the education of our youth.”
