A 4.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sivrice district of Elazığ has been confirmed by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority Earthquake Department. The earthquake, which occurred at 23:57, was determined to be approximately 8 kilometers deep.
Officials have reported that so far no negative incidents have occurred due to the earthquake. Elazığ Governor Ömer Toraman also stated on his social media account, “Get well soon. Our teams continue field surveys. So far, no negativity has been reported”.
