Antalya-based father of 2 children who works as a vehicle painter in the industry, Cumali Orhan, was defrauded with a fake license while trying to buy a damaged and banned-from-traffic vehicle for 90,000 TL, which he saw on the internet. Reacting to the negative comments directed at him on social media after the incident, Orhan stated that he couldn’t find words for the rest.

Story of Being Defrauded

Orhan paid 90,000 TL to the person he agreed to buy the vehicle for 105,000 TL, but he realized that he was defrauded with a fake license. Understanding that the plate on the license was different from the one on the vehicle, Orhan reported to the police that he was defrauded. The details of the incident were covered in the news.

Orhan: “I thank only 7 out of 397 comments, I can’t find words for the rest.”

In his statement, Orhan reacted to the negative comments made about him. Orhan expressed that he could only thank 7 out of a total of 397 comments and stated that he couldn’t make sense of the remaining comments.

  • Orhan: “All 390 comments were blaming me. Only one said ‘Defrauded while going to defraud’. 99% of those dealing with vehicles in the industry do damaged car business.”

Reaction to Comments

Orhan continued his reaction against the comments, saying, “One wrote ‘Got caught while hunting’. Brother, I didn’t go bird hunting in the forest. I paid money, bought a car, and didn’t get what I paid for. One wrote ‘Bridge for sale’. You are the one who understands, buy it and sell it. I encountered very ridiculous comments.”

Orhan: “I request those who wrote those comments. I have a family, a circle of friends, and children. They read those comments. If they want to write, they should write properly or not write at all.”

  • Orhan: “Let the person who defrauded me send me an IBAN number. I will pay the price of my lost reputation in 10 days. I am a poor and destitute man.”

Orhan, stating that his reputation was tarnished after the incident of being defrauded, offered to pay the price of his lost reputation to the person who defrauded him by addressing them.
