Sivas Municipality Mayor Dr. Adem Uzun’s project of providing meals to condolence houses aims to support those in need. This is considered an important step within the scope of social responsibility projects.

The project called ‘First Condolence Meal in Grief Days is On Us,’ which is one of the election promises of the Mayor of Sivas, Dr. Adem Uzun, has been implemented. The aim of this project is to alleviate the pain of families who have lost their loved ones and to support them. As part of the application initiated by Mayor Uzun’s instructions, meal service has started at funeral homes.
Specially prepared packages consisting of roasted meat, rice, dessert, salad, and buttermilk are being sent to funeral homes in different parts of the city. These packages are carefully packaged at the Sivas Municipality Social Facilities and delivered in menus for 40 people each.
