In Malatya, within the scope of May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day, the participation of political parties and non-governmental organizations in the events was realized with great enthusiasm. The celebrations took place with intense security measures taken by the police teams.
The events held in Malatya, which is an earthquake zone, started with a march starting from Emek Aiz Alt Junction. Political party representatives and non-governmental organizations walked to Emeksiz Square by chanting slogans with various banners and posters they carried in their hands.
After police searches, the groups gathered at Emeksiz Square with a program organized by the celebration committee. Following the speeches made during the program, dances were performed to music and the spirit of May 1st was joyfully experienced. The crowd left the area after the events ended without any incidents.
