Yalova celebrated May 1st Labor and Solidarity Day with great enthusiasm. The celebration program organized by Yalova Labor and Democracy Forces led to colorful scenes starting from 17 August Park.
The march held on Gazipaşa Street advanced with enthusiastic slogans, and the participants gathered at July 15 Democracy and Republic Square. Groups entering the celebration area, which took place under security measures, celebrated May 1st by dancing to the tunes of zurna and drum.
The celebration program continued with concerts until the evening. Yalova Mayor Mehmet Gürel, Çiftlikköy Mayor Adil Yele, Altınova Mayor Yasemin Fazlaca, CHP Provincial Chairman Erdem Doğancı, and many representatives of civil society organizations attended the event.
