Keçiören Mayor Mesut Özarslan conducted inspections following the flood disaster

Following the heavy rainfall in Ankara, floods and overflows occurred in the district of Keçiören, causing damage in many areas. In response to this situation, the Mayor of Keçiören, Mesut Özarslan, conducted inspections in the affected areas.

Yesterday evening, the torrential rainfall across Ankara led to floods and overflows, especially in certain points of Keçiören. Mayor Özarslan went to the field to closely monitor the ongoing works. Standing by the citizens affected by the adversities, Özarslan stated, ‘We are always by the side of our people. We will conduct necessary inspections and provide support.’

Determination of Damages and Intervention Efforts

Following the meteorological warning, the teams of Keçiören Municipality swiftly intervened in the flood-affected areas. Mayor Özarslan closely monitored the works and boosted the morale of the citizens. Damage assessment works were meticulously carried out in the flooded areas.

In his statement, Özarslan said, ‘Together with our teams, we exerted immense effort in the streets of Keçiören. By swiftly intervening, we brought the situation under control. Currently, we are actively working in the field to rehabilitate the current situation.’
