Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel’s Salary News for Workers

On May 1st, on Labor and Solidarity Day, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fırat Görgel met with municipal employees and made important statements. Mayor Görgel stated that they will make improvements in wages for the workers.

In his statement, Mayor Görgel said, ‘We are increasing the wages of the workers who work as singles in our metropolitan municipality from 24,000 lira to 28,000 lira. Under the new contract, we are raising the wages of permanent workers to 35,000 lira for single workers. In general, wages will range between 37,000 and 40,000 lira,’ he said.

• Salary Improvements: Mayor Görgel emphasized the improvements in wages for his employees to have better conditions in return for their hard work.
• Increased Bonuses: Additionally, Mayor Görgel stated that the bonuses given during religious holidays have been increased, and bonuses around 2,000 lira during holidays have been canceled, with separate bonuses to be given during Eid al-Adha and Ramadan holidays.
