To protest Israel’s attacks on Gaza in Kütahya, a sit-in was organized by the Solidarity Platform of Civil Society Organizations (KÜSİDAP).
Protest Details
Members of the platform gathered at the stand in Zafer Square and demanded an immediate end to the massacre in Palestine. The press statement was made by Sebahattin Ceyhun, the President of Kütahya International Student Association.
Speech by the Platform President
Ceyhun, expressing that they set up a stand in Zafer Square to raise awareness about the events in Gaza, said, “As you know, there has been a massacre in Gaza for 7 months since October 7th…”
Call for Support from the Public
Ceyhun called on citizens to support the sit-in, stating, “After the meeting we had with KÜSİDAP, we planned to have a sit-in here every day…”
Results of the Action and Future Plans
Ceyhun thanked those who supported the action, saying, “I thank those who supported the action. For the future, I ask them to continue their support for Gaza and to continue praying. I ask for this from here…”
