Meeting on Social Media and Leading to Marriage

Alimen Gülpınar, a 25-year-old musician in Trabzon, met Irem Kılıç by sharing a video of himself singing on his social media account. Irem, who is involved in handicrafts, was impressed by the video and contacted Alimen, thus beginning their love story.

Marriage Decision Despite Financial Difficulties

Deciding to get married and establish a home, Alimen Gülpınar, faced financial difficulties but with the support of Irem Kılıç’s family, they set a date for the wedding and started preparations. In the wedding ceremony officiated by the Mayor of Çatalağzı, Yavuz Palabaş, the couple had a happy day with the support of their loved ones.

Alimen Gülpınar: “God opens a door from somewhere. I did not upset my spouse, I came here. Her family supported me. I am glad that she came into my life. I love her very much, I’m glad she is in my life.”

Irem Gülpınar: “At first, we were afraid of how our families would react. We had a stage about whether to tell our families immediately or not. Our families reacted with understanding.”
